• NHBC Standards and updates
• Standards Extra, NHBC's technical newsletter
• associated technical publications, including 'A consistent approach to finishes' and the 'Good Craftsmanship Guides'
• providing technical information for NHBC staff and the house-building industry
• dealing with technical enquiries
• assessing the suitability of products and building systems for use in homes covered by the Buildmark warranty
• technical research, both in-house and with industry partners
• providing input to work on new regulations and standards, including Building Regulations and British Standards.
