Type approvals
Type Approvals are suitable for whole buildings or any repetitive element of a building. If you regularly use a particular design, building system or construction feature we can check it for Building Regulation compliance. Once agreed, Type Approvals are accepted throughout England and Wales. This saves you time and money as less information will be required with any subsequent site applications you make. You can also be certain that your approval will always be accepted by NHBC throughout England and Wales.

You can also Type Approve individual flat layouts and common stacking arrangements in blocks of flats - even though the elevations may not be pre-determined.

Your national co-ordinator will advise of any necessary amendments and once alterations have been carried out we will issue a type approval certificate.
