Your obligation is to comply with the Building Regulations when you build new homes. Our role as an Approved inspector is to take reasonable steps to ensure you are complying with the Regulations. Whilst our roles differ, we believe that by working with you, there is a much better opportunity to ensure that your statutory obligations are met and the new home complies with the Regulations. This is achieved by:-
- Providing a nominated, qualified and experienced Surveyor for each project.
- FREE preliminary checks and design advice - no fees are paid until work commences on site.
- Consulting approach - we can visit you at your offices and get involved at the earliest stages of large projects, advising at pre-tender stage and acting as a key member of the design team.
- Full plan appraisal and technical reports identifying outstanding issues and information.
- Regular site inspection (frequency tailored to suit individual project requirements) that is managed and monitored closely for effectiveness and consistency.
- Assisting with design solutions through value engineering, saving time and money.
- Consultations with the fire authority, statutory bodies and advice on local acts.
